SUMMARY:Peer Consultation Group: A Collaborative Community for Eating Disorder Professionals
DESCRIPTION:Join our longstanding iaedp Peer Consultation Group\, designed to foster a strong sense of community\, clinical excellence\, and ongoing professional development. Co-facilitated by Jonna Fries\, PsyD and Maggie Edwards\, PsyD\, this group meets twice monthly via Microsoft TEAMS and is free to all iaedp members. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 12:00 PM Pacific Time. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWe welcome psychotherapists\, dietitians\, and medical doctors to bring forward clinical questions and complex cases related to the treatment of eating disorders. Discussions regularly include topics such as: \n\n\n\n\nEthical and legal considerations\n\n\n\nComplex treatment planning\n\n\n\nTeam-based collaboration\n\n\n\nCountertransference\n\n\n\nIntervention strategies\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis confidential\, inclusive space is guided by clear\, respectful group norms to ensure safety and professional integrity.
