SUMMARY:Nashville: Binging to Cope: How Anxious Attachment Fuels Binge Eating—And What Clinicians Can Do
DESCRIPTION:This workshop synthesizes cutting-edge findings from three recent studies to illuminate how anxious attachment drives binge eating behaviors. This presentation demonstrates that binge eating is not merely a behavioral symptom\, but a maladaptive emotional regulation strategy rooted in unmet attachment needs. Clinicians will learn how to assess for anxious attachment\, recognize its behavioral signatures in binge episodes\, and integrate trauma-informed\, attachment-aware interventions that target the root—not just the symptom—of binge eating. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nEARN 1.5 CE Credit Hours
