Advancing Professional Standards

The Associate Designation formally recognizes those working in the field of eating disorders or affiliated professions who have completed basic coursework and demonstrated a commitment to excellence. Required coursework includes an overview of eating disorders, eating disorder treatment approaches, and nutritional and medical aspects unique to the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders.

The Associate Designation is different from iaedp certification, allowing professionals to identify themselves as Associate Designee of the iaedp™ Institute.
