When does the iaedp 2024 Virtual Symposium start?
Those who attended our in-person Symposium will have access starting July 1st. New registrants will be given access beginning on July 8th. All registrants will have access through September 30th of this year.
Is there a registration fee for the Virtual Symposium?
Yes, there is a registration fee of $400 for virtual-only attendees. However, access is free for those who attended the in-person symposium in Orlando in March of 2024.
Will Continuing Education Units (CEUs) be available?
Yes, CEUs will be available for attendees. Please ensure you check the specific requirements and eligible sessions detailed on our symposium platform once you have registered. If you have time-sensitive needs for CEs before July 1, we recommend you consider reaching out to one of our Presidents Council members or a provider in your field. Global attendees of the Spanish track will receive a Diploma of Participation.
Who can attend the Global Virtual Symposium?
The symposium is designed for healthcare professionals, educators, and researchers specializing in eating disorders and related fields. It is open to both iaedp members and non-members.
What can I expect from the Virtual Symposium?
Attendees can expect a range of keynote speeches, workshops, and panel discussions from leading global experts in the field – in both English and Spanish. The virtual symposium aims to provide the same high-quality content as the in-person event, including the latest research, treatment techniques, and professional networking opportunities.
How do I access the symposium materials?
Registered participants will receive an email with login credentials close to the start date. All materials and sessions will be accessible through the designated online platform.
Can I access the sessions at any time?
Yes, one of the benefits of the virtual symposium is that sessions are recorded and can be accessed at any time during the symposium period to accommodate different schedules and time zones.
What should I do if I encounter technical issues during the symposium?
Should you encounter any technical difficulties, please contact our support team available during the symposium. Contact details will be provided upon registration and also available on the symposium platform.
Can I cancel my registration?
Yes, cancellations are allowed. Please refer to the cancellation policy on our registration page for details regarding deadlines and possible refunds.

Social Workers (ASWB) Credit Designation
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. ASWB Learner Level: Advanced. Social Workers completing this course receive 40.00 Enduring Material GENERAL continuing education credits.
