Gloria Dada Sánchez, PhD, MA, MS, C-DBT

She is a psychologist from the Salesian Pontifical University of Rome (Italy) and later specialized in Spain, where she obtained a master’s degree in Cognitive Social Therapy, a doctorate in Clinical and Health Psychology, from the University of Barcelona, and a specialty in Eating Disorders, from the Higher Institute of Psychological Studies. In addition, she specialized in Integrative Cognitive Psychotherapy from the Aiglé Foundation and the Maimonides University (Argentina), and in Clinical Supervision, from the Aiglé Foundation and the University of Salvador.
She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Calgary (Canada), where she worked on family therapy and research on cultural factors associated with body image.
She is co-founder of the Arboretum Center, a psychological care clinic where she is the clinical director. She works with clients with eating disorders and their families. In addition, she supervises other professionals who serve this population.
In addition to treatment care, Gloria has taught at the University of Calgary, the University of Barcelona, Keiser University (Latin America Campus), the Caita Institute in Mexico, and at the Dr. José Matías Delgado University in El Salvador, for undergraduate, graduate and master’s programs. She also collaborates with research teams in Spain, Italy and Canada.
