Call for Applications and Nominations: 2026 iaedp Foundation Awards and Fellows

The iaedp Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the 2026 iaedp Foundation Awards and applications for the 2026 Class of iaedp Fellows. Both will be presented at the iaedp Foundation Annual Global Symposium in Baltimore, MD, February 19–21, 2026.

iaedp Foundation Awards

The Board of Directors established the Awards Program to formally recognize members and leaders whose dedication and contributions have significantly advanced the mission of the Foundation. Since its inception, the program has sought to:

– Recognize longstanding commitment and leadership within iaedp.

– Highlight innovative and meaningful contributions by newer professionals.

– Celebrate consistent and exceptional service that exemplifies goodwill and ambassadorship.

– Honor extraordinary lifetime achievements as well as unique contributions outside traditional categories.

The Senior Advisory Council reviews nominations and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors, which provides final approval.

Award Categories

– Spirit of iaedp Award – Honors 10+ years of consistent service and engagement.

– Lifetime Achievement Award – Recognizes a career of sustained and meaningful contributions; nominees need not be iaedp members.

– New Professional Award – For members with five or fewer years in the field who have made noteworthy contributions.

– Member of the Year Award – For members with at least six years of professional experience who have exceeded expectations in service to iaedp.

– Special Service Recognition Award – Awarded on occasion for unique contributions not covered by other categories; nominees need not be iaedp members.

iaedp Fellows: Call for Applications

The Fellows designation honors senior professionals whose careers reflect longstanding dedication, innovation, and achievement in the field of eating disorders. Fellowship is both recognition of past contributions and acknowledgment of ongoing commitment to the advancement of the field. Fellows are distinguished leaders within the iaedp Foundation, serving as exemplars of excellence in clinical practice, education, research, and service.

Eligibility Criteria

– Minimum of 10 years of iaedp membership in good standing.

– Minimum of 15 years of professional service in the field.

– Clinicians: Minimum of 5 years as a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS).

– Evidence of significant and sustained contributions (e.g., publications, leadership, teaching, research, community initiatives). Application Process – Applications may be peer-nominated or self-nominated.

– Required materials: completed application form, documentation of eligibility, CV/resume, and at least one letter of support.

The 2026 Class of iaedp Fellows will be announced in January 2026 and honored at the Global Symposium in Baltimore on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
