Rhode Island Chapter: Holding Our Ground Without Digging In: GLP-1s and Eating Disorder Care
3 December @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Join the iaedp Rhode Island Chapter for our inaugural Winter Gala, an elegant evening celebrating the eating disorder professionals who make this work possible.
The night begins with a cocktail reception and dinner, followed by the announcement of our 2026 Provider of the Year honoree, recognized for outstanding contributions to eating disorder care in the region.
Our keynote speaker, Marci Evans, MS, RDN, CEDS-C, is a weight-inclusive eating disorder dietitian, educator, author, and Simmons University faculty member. She will present Holding Our Ground Without Digging In: GLP-1s and Eating Disorder Care, a timely and nuanced look at where emerging pharmacology meets eating disorder practice. Rather than arguing for or against GLP-1 medications, Marci invites clinicians to bring the skills they already use in complex care (curiosity, discernment, and the capacity to tolerate uncertainty) into this rapidly evolving landscape.
