Prepare your presentation

First, download the approved PowerPoint Template. The template provides title and content pages in both English and Spanish. All presenters must use the template and submit their completed slides by December 31, 2026.

Record and submit your presentation

  • Record the presentation using the slides.
  • Include all co-presenters and panelists.
  • Submit both slides and recording by December 31, 2026.
  • The deadline is firm; extensions will not be granted.
  • Watch this page for upload instructions.
Tips for recording your presentation:
  • If you’re presenting on a panel, set a date and time to record your presentation together; otherwise, set a date and time to record your presentation.
  • Face a window so daylight falls on your face.
  • Avoid sitting with a bright window or lamp behind you. It turns you into a silhouette.
  • Overhead lights alone can cast shadows. A lamp in front of you helps.
  • Choose a quiet room. Rooms with carpet, curtains, or furniture sound better than kitchens or hallways.
  • Turn off fans, air conditioning, and computer and cell phone notifications if you can.
  • Stay within about an arm’s length of the camera. If you have wired earbuds with a microphone, use them.
  • Frame yourself from mid-chest up, with a little space above your head.
  • A simple, uncluttered background works best. Check that nothing overly personal or confidential is visible.
  • Name your file with your last name and broad topic area, for example: Garcia_Culture.mp4
