Natalie Andriadze

Natalie Andriadze

Natalie Andriadze is a psychologist, CBT-E and CBT-T certified therapist and eating disorder recovery coach based in Tbilisi, Georgia. With over four years in private practice, she supports individuals with bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, OSFED, ARFID, and disordered eating, working with both individual and group therapy modalities. Natalie trained in CBT-E through CREDO, in partnership with the University of Oxford, and in CBT-T through the University of Sheffield.

She has also completed training in Nutrition and Weight Management in the Treatment of Eating Disorders through the Academy for Eating Disorders (presented by Marcia Herrin) and Women’s Health and Menopause through Harvard Medical School, alongside her background as an ICF-accredited health and life coach.

Drawing on both her clinical training and her own lived experience of eating disorder recovery, Natalie brings genuine empathy alongside evidence-based treatment to her work with clients. She has come to understand that recovery is never just about food or body image — it is about safety and identity — and this understanding shapes both her practice and her advocacy work. In 2022, Natalie founded the Georgian Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (GAEDP) to raise awareness of eating disorders as a serious, treatable mental health condition, and to build a community of trained specialists in a country with strong diet-related and appearance-based pressures and limited access to specialized care.

Natalie currently serves as the iaedp International Chair for Georgia, where she is committed to bringing internationally recognized standards, training, and continuing education to Georgian professionals, and to strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration in the field of eating disorders throughout the country.

Maricarmen Diaz Juarez

Director of International Affairs

Maricarmen Díaz lives in Mexico City. She dedicated most of her professional career – nearly thirty years – to being a university professor and researcher in the field of Law. Her academic and professional preparation comes with a Law degree, a master’s degree in Higher Education and a PhD in Private Law, so her command of Spanish is at a very advanced level. Since 2015, she started with the Spanish translation of the Eating Disorders Review, and since 2020, she has been part of the iaedp™ team as Director of Language and Translation, being the Spanish face of the association. She likes to think that through her work, she helps valuable information reach more people in Spanish-speaking countries who are seeking treatment for recovery from these complex illnesses. Currently, she also has her own company: Your Business in Spanish, a culturally sensitive Spanish translation specializing in mental health and eating disorders. In her free time, she enjoys reading about personal development and novels by Latin American authors, swimming daily and outdoor activities.
